Important Dates

February 25 |
Last day to to file a petition to run for School Board. All nominating petitions must be filed with the Secretary of the Board of Education before 4:00 p.m. |

March 5 |
The Secretary of the Board of Education shall perform the drawing of names for ballot positions. |

March 25 |
Last day to register to vote for the School Election |
| April 1 |
On or before this date, applications for appointment of challengers for school elections shall be filed with the County Board of Elections. |
| April 8 |
Last day to apply for a civilian absentee ballot by mail for the School Election |
| April 8 - April 14 |
Absentee voting in person, or by authorized messenger if the voter is sick or confined, to the County Clerk on any day up to 3:00 P.M. of the day before the election. |
| April 15 |
School Board Election
Day Polls must be open between 5 pm and 9 pm, and may be open any additional time between the hours of 7 am and 9 pm as designated by each Board of Eduction. |
